Description Pieter Hollants 2020-12-26 01:43:02 UTC
Quoting https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/server:mail/postfix/postfix.changes:

Thu Nov 26 15:30:10 UTC 2020 - Peter Varkoly <varkoly@suse.com>

- Remove Berkeley DB dependency (JIRA#SLE-12191)
The pacakges postfix is build without Berkely DB support.
lmdb will be used instead of BDB.
The pacakges postfix-bdb is build with Berkely DB support.
o add patch for main.cf for postfix-bdb package

Ignoring for the moment that unfortunately outside of SUSE no one can know why Berkeley DB was dropped because jira.suse.com is employee-only:
1. there is no postfix-bdb package according to https://software.opensuse.org's package search
2. the Postfix binary was still compiled with defaults such as aliases = hash:/etc/aliases although "hash" is now no longer available

Should be resolved
