Relevant dmesg output:

        [    4.650950] iwlwifi 0000:28:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
        [    4.720086] iwlwifi: probe of 0000:28:00.0 failed with error -110

Reproduced in upstream, will contact maintainers. I'll keep this as a tracker bug.

Note that this was reproduced in 5.6.3-2.g5b340fd-default

I updated my system's BIOS and the issue went away.
