Description Markus Elfring 2019-02-19 10:44:47 UTC
The software packages “breeze5-style 5.15.0-1.1” and “yast2 4.1.54-1.1” are installed also on my system.
I became surprised by the following error message after another recent update.

Sonne:~ # yast2
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2controlcenter: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/styles/breeze.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6Breeze17BoxShadowRenderer23calculateMinimumBoxSizeEi

Which library version should provide the member function “Breeze::BoxShadowRenderer::calculateMinimumBoxSize(int)”?

I have noticed a moment ago that software from the packages “libbreezecommon5-5 5.15.0-1.1” and “yast2 4.1.55-1.1” is working together again as expected.
Can similar mismatches be avoided better for the involved application binary interfaces?
