Description Forgotten User 2 2019-02-16 07:52:28 UTC
Steps to Reproduce:

    1) Install MozillaFirefox and MozillaFirefox-translations-common through zypper.

    2) Ensure the language pack is in effect(for me it is zh-CN).

    2) Launch Firefox.

    3) View any web page.

Actual Results: The status bar displays in English.

Expected Results: The status bar displays in local language as the language pack set.

Additional Information:

    1) This issue does not affect openSUSE Leap with Firefox 60.5.0. And it happens at least from Firefox version 64.0.

    2) Remove MozillaFirefox-translations-common and install the Official Language Pack through https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/language-tools/ solved this issue.

Just for clarification: You mean the status bar showing up temporarily to show the "transfer status" of the network stream?
If so, I can confirm it but didn't notice it before.
(Interesting finding but locale packaging is somehow rocket science; need to see if I can find the culprit)

The bug seems to have been solved recently, now the status bar displays in local language.
