Description Maurizio Galli 2018-10-15 11:44:54 UTC
Tilix does not seem to properly recognize the command:
exo-open --launch TerminalEmulator mutt

This command is used by Xfce to launch CLI applications from Application Menu, i.e Mutt, Vim, Htop.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Make Tilix the default terminal application in Preferred Applications > Utilites > TerminalEmulator

2. Launch any CLI application from the Application Menu

Result:

Tilix opens a blank terminal instead of the application launched

Expected result:

The CLI application should open in Tilix as it would with xfce4-terminal or gnome-terminal

I'm closing this report.

The right command to call is "exo-open --launch TerminalEmulator -e mutt"

Correct command in Preferred Applications > Utilites > TerminalEmulator
/usr/bin/tilix -e
