Description Martin Christeson 2018-04-19 16:33:11 UTC
Upgrade to kernel 4.16.x is not creating wireless drivers for Intel Wireless adaptors. If I boot with the last 4.15 kernel, wireless works.

Issue occurs on Lenovo Thinkpad P50 running Tumbleweed.
Comment 1 Martin Christeson 2018-04-19 16:36:50 UTC
The adapter is not being created.
Comment 2 Takashi Iwai 2018-04-19 18:08:14 UTC
Are you sure that 4.16.2 kernel doesn't work? Try the kernel package in OBS Kernel:stable repo.
Comment 3 Takashi Iwai 2018-04-19 18:08:40 UTC
And if it still doesn't work, please give hwinfo output and the dmesg output after boot.
Comment 4 Martin Christeson 2018-04-21 16:25:37 UTC
UPdated as suggested to 4.16.2-1.7 and that fixed the wireless issue.

Thanks
