Does this still happen with 4.17?

i am still currently on the stable kernel 4.16.12-3-default and this no longer happens. can't answer for 4.17
Comment 5 Jiri Slaby 2018-06-17 08:04:19 UTC
Perfect.
Comment 6 John Shand 2018-10-21 06:49:55 UTC
as of kernel update 4.18.13-1-default this issue for this driver has come back. i also want to lodge the error i get when the wifi drops:

From 192.168.20.6 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

from this i can no longer use the internet and i have to restart the network service. after restarting the service it comes back. should this issue happen at all or does it have something to do with my modem router which is a nf15acv?

please advise
