Description Abel Navarro 2018-01-08 14:56:04 UTC
I'm trying to install some Java related packages (gradle) on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. For that I'm adding the Java repo as recommended here:

I follow the manual steps to add the Java repo but get an error when adding it:

$ sudo zypper addrepo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:packages/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/Java:packages.repo
Download (curl) error for 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:packages/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/Java:packages.repo':
Error code: Curl error 60
Error message: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

If I manually try to access the Java files in the repo I can see them all there. I cannot access though repomd.xml.key from the repo (reports an error):

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1 at column 1: Document is empty
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

I can get the file though through some other mirrors. This one seems to be working:

runnig a 'zypper dup' got 'ca_certificates' installed and the problem was solved.
