[Build 20170418] openQA test fails in oomath - language could not be detected
Last modified: 2017-09-17 14:35:17 UTC
## Observation openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-zdup-13.1-gnome@64bit fails in [oomath](http://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/389648/modules/oomath/steps/5) ## Reproducible Fails since (at least) Build [20170301](http://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/363543) ## Expected result Last good: [20170228](http://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/363167) (or more recent) ## Further details Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](http://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?machine=64bit&distri=opensuse&arch=x86_64&version=Tumbleweed&test=zdup-13.1-gnome&flavor=NET) This seems so far only to be an issue when updating from 13.1 to TW, using zypper dup
We are doing the zypper dup from fully updated system or directly from fresh installation?
(In reply to Tomáš Chvátal from comment #1) > We are doing the zypper dup from fully updated system or directly from fresh > installation? The current 13.1 disk image in use is fully updated (and no new updates are appearing, as 13.1 is EOL)
Debugging shows the issue is caused by the /usr/bin/libreoffice-share-linker not properly propagating all the required symlinks. A quick workaround is to zypper in -f libreoffice-l10n-<lang>. It seems the order of the installed packages was: update libreoffice-l10n-en to 5.3.x uninstall libreoffice-help-en-US-4.1.2 (which won't find its required files and breaks a bit on the postun) I will update the libreoffice-share-linker to allow backcompat for this. Also the full fix will need to be done in libreoffice main package somehow.
(In reply to Tomáš Chvátal from comment #3) > A quick workaround is to zypper in -f libreoffice-l10n-<lang>. openQA will just keep on failing on this test until it can be addressed. It's set to not block snapshots from releasing in this scenario This helps us to not only mask the error but actually being able to monitor success when a solution is being implemented
This is an autogenerated message for OBS integration: This bug (1035087) was mentioned in https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/489796 Factory / libreoffice-share-linker

Verified these two submissions fixed the issue on local test machine. When merged in Factory it should fix the issue too.
