Description Bernhard Voelker 2018-02-16 08:27:30 UTC
During 'zypper dup' today, I saw the following:

---8<---
(251/336) Installing: sysdig-kmp-default-0.20.0_k4.15.3_1-1.5.x86_64 ......................................[done]
Additional rpm output:
cat: write error: Broken pipe
cat: write error: Broken pipe
cat: write error: Broken pipe
--->8---

I didn't look at the spec, but the messages is ... distracting.

Either the failure can be ignored - then the output should be sent to /dev/null,
or some useful message should be added how to handle the situation.

Thanks & have a nice day,
Berny

Definitely not related to sysdig kmp modules

This was a rpm hickup. Please open a new ticket if you can still reproduce it, but the issue should no longer be observable.
