Description Andreas Färber 2017-12-10 00:05:20 UTC
Booting an Nvidia Jetson TK1 board with 4.15-rc2 kernel from Kernel:HEAD gets stuck in varying places after "Started udev Coldplug all Devices." in rootfs.

         Starting udev Coldplug all Devices...
[ OK ] Started udev Coldplug all Devices.

Thomas, could you have a look at the patchset when time permits? Andreas, this happens on aarch64 (ARM), right?
Comment 2 Andreas Färber 2018-07-20 13:52:42 UTC
Yes, it happened on both arm (original report for TK1) and arm64 (TX1).
Not sure which kernel was the latest tested, possibly 4.17.1 on TX1.
Comment 4 Takashi Iwai 2019-06-17 13:43:08 UTC
4.17.x is way too old. Even Leap 15.1 got the 4.19.y-based DRM code.
Any chance to check with the newer kernel?
